All the artists in the exhibition have built strategies of resilience to create thought provoking, challenging and critical work. Media discussed includes drawing, collage and performance. Subjects and themes explored by the group in the exhibition include the maternal body, being differently abled, the transition to motherhood and its impact on mental health and wellbeing, neurodiversity, class, care, matrilineal heritage, trauma, medication and motherhood .
